When I first heard about hydrogen generators for cars and hydrogen car kits, I thought that people were talking about some futuristic gadget or rocket car, perhaps from the latest science fiction blockbuster at the movies. I never believed that it would be possible to run cars on water which is what these gas mileage devices are claimed to do.

But it seems that hydrogen generators for cars are nothing new and the technology has been around for some time.
