I have visited many sites that claim a simple hydrogen conversion unit will give you 45% – 65% increase in fuel efficiency, but none appear to have any feedback from actual users. I’d like to hear from someone who has actually used this technology on a regular gas burning car and knows how easy or difficult the conversion was to install and if the gas savings are realistic.
As for the chemistry being all wrong, I think not. I’ve seen the newsreel footage of the Japanese car that runs completely on water alone, using a hydrogen conversion engine. I know the water-fueled engine works. I just want to know if my old car can take advantage of this technology or if I have to wait and buy a new car when the Japanese car goes into production.
As for American car makers jumping on the new technology–Are you kidding me? Detroit is in bed with Big Oil, or haven’t you noticed? The VW bug came to American when I was still too young to drive, but Detroit didn’t bother to make anything to rival it until over 20 years later, and that was not due to their altruism but due to former gas-guzzler customers buying German and Japanese and Italian economy cars. I have no problem with not buying American if American car manufacturers have no problem gouging me for a pollution-mobile.

OPLICHTING! Good Luck … P.S.
No, I haven’t. If that stuff really worked, dont you think everybody in this country would already have it on their vehicles.
It’s all a scam. some of the reasons are listed in the other answers. It violates basic laws of physics, sort of like a flat earth.
But you will get positive answers here. These scam companies employ shills who give false reports on forums like this. Look at their histories, number of best answers, etc, and compare those with the ones like me who give you negative answers.
i read about these things and had to try it for myself. i did not buy one i built it out of common House hold stuff, and it produces about 1.25 liters of hydrogen a minute. every one knows that you can not create of destroy energy you can only transfer it from one form to another. the trick, the fuel cell must produce enough hydrogen that can be burnt to produce more horsepower than the system uses to create the hydrogen.
A 20 amp system draws about 2/3 of a horspower, you will need to make enough hydrogen, that when burned in conjuction with gasoline in an internal combustion engine increases horspower by more than 2/3 of a horspower. It is possible, ive done it. however it was only an increase of about 1-3 miles per gallon. not the 20 -30 percent advertised. somtimes you must think outside the box. try it, you might learn somthing even if you cant get it to work. just dont expect miracles. be realistic with your expectations and be willing to work with it for a while till you find what works. good luck and have fun with it.
I have talked with people who installed the device in their car. They say that it works however it doesn’t allow to boost fuel efficiency by 50% as the author claims.
Yes, I have and several friends, co-workers and family members.
There are many factors involved in whether an HHO generator will work well or not. The major factors are:
1. what are the electrodes made of, how well will they conduct electricity and how quickly will they corrode?
2. What electrolyte mixture are you using in the water (electrolyte is required to make the water conduct electricity to split the hydrogen and oxygen)
3. how much oxygen are you involving in the gas out to the engine?
4. How many o2 sensors does your vehicle have and how will they react to the extra oxygen they will detect? (sometimes the o2 sensors will detect more oxygen and increase your fuel ratio to compensate for it – I personally have not had this problem, but have heard others record it)
Speaking from my personal experience with the generator I built, I have literally TRIPLED my gas mileage.
Potential hazards include:
1. Chance of exploding HHO gases if mis-used.
2. Blowing fuses.
3. Water damage to the exhaust over time.
4. Water in the engine – if you are really really careless.
I am part of an Alternative Energy Research group and HHO Hybriding is one of our focal studies. We have Free diagrams and Plans on our myspace page for people who want to build their own HHO generators and we have instructions on how to use them properly to maximize results.
A 20% increase could easily be a placebo effect.. a 120-300% increase is nothing to scoff at.
hi there, yes Converting your car to run on water is proven to lower fuel costs, increase mileage – and help the environment. and alot more.
