Make Solar Panels At Home Like I Did

Here is a complete background on how to make your own solar panels for just $107.45. Here are the “ingredients.”:

I scrounged for some solar cells that were being thrown out by a local manufacterur

Found a piece of wood at a garage sale

Plexiglass made of plastic

Screws

Silicone Chaulk that can be bought for about 2 bucks

Wire

Diode

Some spray paint I had in the garage for painting some light covers. It’s really up to you if you want to paint the wood

A Jones Plug to transfer the energy properly

Being able to make your own energy and not rely on any company feels great. Let’s not forget that you’ll also be saving the world. If you think that you don’t have enough technical knowledge, let me tell you that my 12-year old son built one by himself (of course with my supervision). On a weekend project, my 15 year old daughter and I made a solar panel and we didn’t have any sort of experience or knowledge.

The first thing you’ll need besides knowing how to make your own solar panels is the items that I mentioned above. The best part is that you can get these things inexpensively and even for free. Manufacturers have error problems and whenever they have defects, they throw these things out. You can get them for free and maybe pennies. The things that can be received for cheap are solar cells that are broken but still usable, wiring and plastic plexiglass.
