Read on to find out more…

It has been a fact that smoking is the largest cause of preventable death in the world. Many people die prematurely from smoking-related diseases each day.

Some of the smoking related diseases are cancer, heart disease, stroke and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), or also know as Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease (COLD), and these are every nation’s top killers. Smoking has been identified as being the major risk factor for heart attacks, strokes, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), emphysema, and cancer – particularly lung cancer, cancers of the larynx and mouth, and pancreatic cancer, and these are the top killers in every country.

Medical studies have shown without doubts that all these diseases are caused by smoking.

Studies have also shown that the social cost of smoking is very high and gauge it to be in the billions of dollars each year.

Smoking is a slow killer, not just to the smoker but also to those around him. Some day, the smoker will contract the diseases. Prior to contracting them, smokers are also at risk of suffering some of the common ailments brought about by smoking each day.

Below are some examples of the smokers’ common ailments:

  • wheezing and breathing nosily
  • easily catch common cold
  • shortness of breath
  • persistent cough
  • irritated throat
  • dry skin
  • irritated eyes
  • always have mucus
  • some loss of taste
  • some loss of smell
  • yellowing of the fingernails
  • etc…

Smokers already faced frustrations with the suffering from the common ailments, yet they may have to withstand more frustrations that are accompanied by nagging or complaints by their loved ones, children, family members or even non-smoker friends. Some of these may include the following:

  • your breadth is smelly
  • your clothing is smelly
  • you are polluting the air
  • daddy is smelly, i don’t want to play with him
  • you are putting me at risk of inhaling your second-hand smoke
  • you are spending money on something that don’t bring you any benefits
  • etc…

These nagging or complaints do add to the smokers frustrations, misery and even agony.

But the sad thing is – all smokers harbor the secret hope that they will be spared the disease and death that follows nicotine addiction. They tell themselves we’ll quit in time and somehow dodge the bullet that smoking is.

Ask yourself,

  1. when was the last time you harbor that intention to stop smoking?
  2. have you consciously make an effort to stop smoking?
  3. have you found a way to help you quit smoking?

I’m not surprised if the answer is ‘negative’ to all the questions. So, when will you quit smoking? There is still time to win the quitting game, but there is no more time to lose !

Smokers cannot win the bet with the odds not in their favor. Every year, there are up to 4 million death due to smoking addictions and tobacco use around the world; OR ONE smoking-related death every 8 seconds, 24/7, 365 days a year. Think about the odds !

Stop your self-denial and look seriously at the REAL consequences that smoking will brings about, not only to you but also to the people around you. Only then, will you wake up, and made a concerted effort to quit smoking.

Here is one real story of a hardcore smoker’s effort to stop smoking.

Vic is the guy, and he has been smoking over 30 years. He practically can smoke at any occasion; and you can often find him with a cigarette in his mouth.

Besides suffering from some of the common ailments mentioned above, he also faces the consistent nagging from his family.

The first step he took was the decision to do a treatment session with the Ionic Cleanse Foot Bath. It was after that treatment that he seriously knew about the harm that smoking did to him, and decided to start his quit smoking plan. With each little victory he scored along the way, he has reduced his smoking habits by half what he used to smoke in each day.

“I have tried to quit smoking many times with different way but each without any success.” He continued, “If I have not found the ionic cleanse foot bath, I know I will still be smoking. The treatments are convincing and easy to do and make me want to do it regularly. And with each treatment, it gave me the motivation to win the stop smoking race !”

It just seems that Vic has found a new turn in his life – not only he has found some relief of the common ailments, the nagging has disappeared.

Vic said, “I think my sense of smell and taste has come back…’cause I eat more regularly now, and my coughs has reduced considerably…’cause I can sleep much better through the night. And most importantly, my family is very happy with my stop smoking effort.

Congratulations to Vic, for finding a way to stop smoking, a way that suit him wells.
