Want A Safer Way To Cook Outdoors?

With all the different outdoor cooking equipment available today such as the portable cooktop, there is practically nothing you can’t cook outdoors .  We love outdoor cooking, from Memorial Day through every weekend in the summer, we are normally busy huddling  around barbecue pits and grills. Grilling is a lot of fun, my family and I do it every weekend if we’re not so busy with our individual schedules  . Sometimes I tend to look for other ways though in cooking outdoors; I don’t like to hear my family complain that I serve the same old chicken barbecue all the time!

With the induction portable cooktop, I can simmer creamy potato soup, fry battered prawn and sauté my favorite buttered vegetables easily  . All sounds great right? Cooking time is incredibly 50% faster! What I love about this cooktop is it doesn’t have flames or fumes and the surface around the pot or pan remains cool to the touch.

You don’t have to worry about cleaning it up either because food won’t stick to the glass. The induction cooktop is perfect for you if you want rapid cooking precision. Unlike electric cookers, head adjustment is instant. No more guesstimating! Choose a unit that promises safety and by that we mean the unit will not generate heat and will shut off automatically after 60 seconds if a cookware is not detected. For added peace of mind, you can go for portable induction cooktop that comes with a “Child Safety Lock”.

You have to remember though that you can’t use just any type of cookware. Don’t worry it’s not that complicated. To find out if your present pots and pans are suitable for an induction cooktop, all you have to do is grab a magnet (those pretty magnets that you stick to your refrigerator will do) and see if it sticks to the bottom of your cookware. If it does then it means it is suitable to be used with an induction cooktop  Other cookwares that are induction compatible include enameled iron and steel, stainless steel with magnetic bottom and cast iron.

A portable cooktop is truly one of the greatest inventions ever to make outdoor cooking more convenient, easy and fast. Now you don’t have to worry about keeping your food warm when you’re camping or having a great time with your friends at your patio or deck.
